About Nicole Garey:

Nicole Garey, PA-C was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in New York but was raised in Northern New Jersey her whole life. She grew up in the town of West Milford and graduated from West Milford Township High School in 2004. She continued her education at the University of Maryland where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Nicole then enrolled into the Pace University Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program in New York City to train as a Physician Assistant where she received excellent medical training in the city hospitals including Lenox Hill Hospital, North Central Bronx Hospital, and Coney Island Hospital to name a few. While training, she became an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the New Jersey States Society of Physician Assistants. In 2014, Nicole took, and passed with distinction, her national certification exam for Physician Assistants. She obtained her first job as an Orthopaedic Surgical Physician Assistant before she even walked in her Physician Assistant program graduation, where she was awarded a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

Nicole worked as an Orthopaedic Surgical Physician Assistant for Crystal Run Healthcare for 5 years, working primarily in the operating room with a variety of orthopedic surgeons across many subspecialties. Nicole is excited to bring her surgical skills to Modern Orthopaedics of New Jersey and assist our surgeons in the operating rooms. When she’s not in the operating room, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, Jackson, hiking, snowboarding and attending live music.
